Aga Cooker Conversion

The Aga cooker can be converted to electric using the elecktrakit. This will fit in the 2,3 and 4 oven models. The Aga needs to be stripped down completely whilst I do this.

The hotplates have their own element, Meaning each hotplate is able to be turned on /off individually. The heat up time from stone-cold is approximately 15/20 mins. The ovens have the element in between them so they come on as a pair. Heat up time is approximately 90 minutes from stone-cold. The outside of the cooker will still give off heat.

The cooker is a lot more flexible to use.

  • The running costs are approximately £15/20 per week can be a lot less if you run them on a timer.
  • We ask for 2 switched fused spurs to be in place at the side of the AGA
  • Julian is always happy to speak with your electrician directly
  • We can vent the aga into the existing flue system. Or room vent. Or we can supply a venting fan to an external wall (at extra cost).
  • We can offer a cleaning service on the same day and a part refurbishment at the same time (new door liners, ropes, lid liners, lid ropes, Upgraded insulation, oven tunnels, clean thermometer and scale plate).
