Veolia Energy in Philadelphia, PA provides steam heat to various buildings in the City. Part of the process included a hot sulfuric acid tank under the boilers. In conjunction with Epoxy Resin Systems Inc., the large tank was constructed using our A200 Series Concrete.
The concrete was pumped into a large tank room approximately 300 feet from the pump location. Veolia was tired of downtime during tank maintenance or replacement, and wanted a long term solution.
